Service of Process
On the MASTER FILE staff are licensed process servers* with 20 years of experience in handling the responsibilities of process serving. Whether the service request is for company records, a trial or deposition, or a summons requiring a Special Process Server, we are ready to serve the documents legally and professionally. Routine subpoenas or other service requests (to be served in the next few days as requested) can be handled by merely submitting the document(s) in the designated pick-up area of the firm. RUSH service requests are better handled by calling the office to request same day service of the papers.
Every request will have a RETURN OF SERVICE form completed and notarized upon execution of the service.
* PLEASE NOTE: As of July 1995, the St. Louis City Circuit Court requires that all summons issued by the court must be served by individuals legally certified to do so. This certification requires successfully completing a training course given by the St. Louis City Sheriff’s Department, process server’s insurance, a non-refundable application fee and approved licensing. All papers served by individuals not on this approved list are subject to quashing and denial by the Court.
